OddsOffSport.org is an independent, evidence-driven campaign for stronger restrictions on gambling advertising in Australian sport. The site exists because a sport-fan-specific voice — focused on stadium signage, jersey logos, broadcast saturation, and the experience of watching footy with kids — adds something distinctive to the broader gambling-reform conversation.
The Alliance for Gambling Reform leads the national campaign and does the heavy political and policy work. Several other organisations — public-health bodies, financial counsellors, frontline gambling-counselling services, faith and community groups — have been campaigning on this issue for years.

Doug was an official with the Community and Public Sector Union for 20 years. Since leaving the union he has been working in project management, HR consultancy, and web design.
The campaign is not affiliated with any political party, sporting body, or commercial gambling operator. It is funded by its founder. No donations are accepted on this site — supporters who wish to contribute financially are encouraged to support the Alliance for Gambling Reform directly.
